The flexible inner shaft of the Foredom machine should be checked, cleaned and lubricated every 50 hours of operation. After 200 hours of operation, the shaft should be thoroughly cleaned with a solvent, dried and lubricated again. See also the instruction video shown on the inner shaft in the web shop.
