Melting rubber is a vinyl-based melting compound specially developed for making flexible moulds into which concrete, plaster, wax, synthetic resin, etc. can be poured. Objects with undercuts can also be moulded without problems. Melt rubber has good tensile strength and good self-releasing properties; guarantees razor-sharp negative moulds and moulds can be stored for a long time. The material can be remelted and recast several times and is relatively inexpensive. Molten rubber is resistant to moisture (no rot), many chemicals and does not dry out. Melted rubber can be reused. To do so, clean the already used melted rubber with hot soapy water (do not use a solvent).
