After cutting the letters, the licence steel of the rasp and the ends are hardened. These graters could be spoiled for stone types that have a hardness of 4 on the Mohs scale. Carrara Bianco is a stone with Mohs hardness 4. Very good for soapstone, alabaster and serpentine type owners.
For a long time it is advisable not to throw the graters on top of each other. They are all hard and are sure to trip if mishandled. Understand that as this quality tool rusts, it also loses its sharpness. After use, clean way with a Brass brush and discuss with a non-greasy preservative (e.g. WD40). If you do not use a wire brush, your grater will die quickly!
