Powertex 1 litre transparent
Powertex is a water-based textile hardener, an environmentally friendly alternative to polyester.
You can use it to harden all absorbent materials such as: Textile, paper, cardboard, plush, leather, glass fibre mat, preferably natural materials.
Powertex combines perfectly with self-curing clays, concrete, stone, ceramics, wood, sand and stone art. Powertex is used to make sculptures, paintings, decorations, objects and jewellery.
Apart from Transparent, the others are already pre-coloured. Powertex transparent dries matt. The original motifs and colours remain in the fabric.
You can create any desired colour yourself by adding a jar of Powercolor/Colortricx to Powertex Transparent.
Dissolve the pigment in a little warm water and stir through Powertex. Your sculpture or decoration can also be painted over with oil paint, acrylic, latex or Powercolor mixed with Easycoat or Easy Varnish, in this combination your colour is immediately waterproof.
Powertex dries in the air, heating with a hair dryer, Powertex Heattool or radiator accelerates the drying time. Weather and waterproof ? All Powertex colours are waterproof, except transparent. To protect the colours of the pigments, always use Easy Varnish. This varnish is water-repellent due to the wax used in it. Allow your decoration to cure indoors for six weeks after painting.
