Copper II nitrate. Gives copper metal a green patina. After adding 400 ml demineralised water, 1/2 litre of ready-to-use mixture is obtained. Heat bronze and apply copper nitrate with a brush, cloth or sprayer. Once the desired colour intensity is achieved, fix with BICK Stone Wax.
Always use in a ventilated area !!!

Recipe for a green patina on a brown background on bronze;
100 ml copper nitrate, 10 cm3 hydrochloric acid 30% solution 1 litre demineralised water. Apply in thin layers to the warm bronze with a brush or cloth. When an even colour has developed, sprinkle the solution on the object with an almost dry brush while still heating the bronze. The green patina will now appear. Let the object cool down and fix the patina with BICK Bronze Wax
Recipe for a red patina on bronze:
100 ml copper nitrate concentrate
100 gram oxalic acid
250 ml demineralised water
Apply a warm mixture to the warm bronze
