Semi-flexible discs or semi-flexible discs are very durable. Coated with silicon carbide abrasive medium, they quickly remove material from stone, wood, plastic, ceramics or horn (for ungulates from hoofed animals). Due to the limited flexibility, the discs also follow the contours of artwork or other objects. Very good value for money. Always use a support pad under the Fiberflex pad. Use is permitted up to 11,500 revolutions per minute.
Semi-flexible discs can be used in place of centre-pressed grinding wheels and abrasive discs. The flexibility of the product results in improved performance as it can be easily machined around contours and limited pressure is required to facilitate use. Semi-flexible discs should be used with a suitable back-up pad.
