Malling Plaster or Calcast 100

Calcast 100 is an extremely fine white ß-plaster suitable for casting less durable art objects and for general use, e.g. moulds for bronze casting. Add 1 part fireclay to 1 part plaster. Due to its high moisture absorption, it is also very suitable for moulds intended for casting clay. Of course, you can also use this plaster to fill in cement and the like directly and cut off the mould later. Also suitable for making support moulds. Reinforce the plaster with several layers of burlap.
Compressive strength 12 MPa (after 28 days) Pouring time 10 minutes, start of bonding 11 minutes, finish of bonding 35 minutes. Mixing ratios 18 litres of water to 25 kg of plaster slowly add the Calcast 100 to the water. Allow everything to react for approx. 1 minute. Follow these mixing ratios carefully to achieve a good final result! In case of deviation from these recommended mixing ratios or by adding additives other than BICK Chamotte to the water plaster mixture, there is a risk of a lower quality end product.
Unfortunately, plaster cannot be returned. This is because we cannot guarantee the storage quality of the plaster during the "outdoor" period.
