Plaster Calcast 200

Calcast 200 is a hard, pure white ß-plaster suitable for general use, e.g. for making moulds for bronze casting. For this, add 1 part fireclay to 1 part plaster. Also very suitable for thin, light support moulds. Due to its hardness, Calcast 200 can also be used for casting works of art.
Follow exactly the mixing ratios of 162 g gypsum to 100 ml pure water (deviation maximum 6 g). In case of deviation from the recommended mixing ratios or by adding additives other than BICK Chamotte to the water plaster mixture, there is a risk of a lower quality end product.
Colouring is possible with the pigments from BICK.
Technical data Brinell hardness> 30 MPa, compressive strength> 16 MPa, casting time approx. 12 minutes, finishing time approx. 28 minutes.
Unfortunately, plaster cannot be returned. This is because we cannot guarantee the storage quality of the plaster during the "outdoor" period.
