Plaster Calcast 100
Calcast 100 is an extremely fine white ß-plaster suitable for casting works of art and for general use, e.g. for moulding forms for bronze casting. To do this, add 1 part fireclay to 1 part plaster. Also very suitable for making support moulds and moulds for casting clay.
Compressive strength 12 MPa (after 28 days) Pouring time 10 minutes, start of bonding 11 minutes, finish of bonding 35 minutes. When mixing 18 litres of water to 25 kg of plaster, slowly add the Calcast 100 to the water. Allow to react for approx. 1 minute. Follow these mixing ratios carefully to achieve a good final result! If these recommended mixing ratios are deviated from or an additive other than BICK Chamotte is added to the water plaster mixture, there is a risk of a lower quality end product.
Unfortunately, plaster cannot be returned. This is because we cannot guarantee the storage quality of the plaster during the "outdoor" period.
