DESCRIPTION
If you are looking for an effective remedy to remove limescale or other deposits, acetic acid is the solution. Acetic acid 80% is the most concentrated acetic acid. When diluted to 20% acetic acid or 8% cleaning vinegar, it is the most economical option.
PROPERTIES
Acetic acid 80% is a biodegradable raw material and will not harm the soil life in your garden. Acetic acid 80% is easily soluble in water.
APPLICATION
Acetic acid 80% is excellent for various applications, e.g. removing deposits from stones, bricks and roof tiles. Acetic acid 80% can also be used to remove heavy lime deposits.
USE
Acetic acid 80% is highly concentrated and must therefore be diluted with water before use. The concentration you need depends on the application and weather conditions. A lower concentration can be used in sunny weather.
A ratio of 1 to 10 (8% acetic acid) is sufficient to remove dirt and light deposits. Use a ratio of 1 to 4 (20% acetic acid) for stubborn dirt and deposits.
20 litres of our 80% acetic acid concentrate are sufficient for 200 litres of cleaning vinegar (8%) or 80 litres of acetic acid (20%).
FITS
Acetic acid, like all other types of acid, has natural lime-dissolving properties. Therefore, when using acetic acid, make sure that you do not get it on calcareous natural stone or other calcareous surfaces. This prevents unsightly stains.
DRINKING MONEY
Vinegar is highly corrosive to all types of metal, copper and brass.
