As with all Widia tools, it is important that you work with a plastic mallet or a soft iron hammer or mallet. This is to prevent the widea from vibrating into pieces. Use the entire cutting hawk and not just a tip of it. You should also never "bury" the chisel in the stone or drop it on a hard surface.
